Alumni Day 2023

Elizabeth Smith, Director of Development

We had a record number of alumni and guests on campus for Alumni Day 2023, totaling more than 150, including the Alumni and Student Basketball game and the afternoon and evening events.

The day began with an alumni vs. students basketball game. It was a great game, but the best part was the opportunity to catch up with our alumni back on campus. Our students gave the Class of 1973 (50th reunion) a lively and engaging tour of the School, starting with their old classrooms in McCoy! There were 16 classmates of the 22 that graduated with them in attendance. They were also interviewed by reporters from The Gator, who gave up part of their Saturday to connect with our alumni. Judy Guild’s presentation on the Brimmer and May of today was standing room only!

In the evening, classmates enjoyed signature cocktails and appetizers, followed by dinner and honoring our alumni with special awards. We had an incredible number of faculty and past faculty there to engage with our alumni. Congratulations to Leslie Guggiari '73 for receiving the Alumni Recognition Award and AJ Reeves ’18 and the Undefeated 1972 Field Hockey Team for being inducted into the Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame! In addition, we inducted the 2003 Production of Anything Goes to the Arts Hall of Fame—a new award introduced to Alumni Day this year.
