VR/AR Integration in Middle School Science
Funds contribute to an enhanced student learning experience that makes abstract or complex content more accessible and engaging, builds students’ digital literacy, and advances Brimmer & May’s “Bold Thinking”
strategic technology vision. This proposal is intentionally scoped to one classroom for year one, but it is
designed as a launch point rather than an endpoint. A successful implementation would establish a
vetted vendor relationship, a reusable content library, and a trained core of staff that other disciplines,
teachers, and divisions could build on in future years to extend VR/AR learning beyond Middle School
