Grade 5 MSPCA Project

Fifth graders sewed fleece beds for cats waiting for adoption at the MSPCA. The students learned about animal shelters and why so many cats are waiting for homes. Many of the students had never picked up a needle and thread, so it was also a lesson in sewing! Fifth graders were pleased to see how they made a big difference for the cats by providing soft beds for them.
