B&M EARN WIN OVER CSW, 12-2

The Varsity baseball team traveled to Cambridge School of Weston last Friday to play CSW on a cold and windy day. CSW took the lead at the end of the first inning, the Gator bats slowly came to life exploding for 12 hits and 12 runs, including 2 doubles and 1 triple. Nate Cappuccino ’14 took the mound and allowed only 3 hits and 2 runs and struck out 8 in 5 innings, Keenan Iuliano ’15 finished the last 2 innings giving up 1 hit, 0 runs and striking out 4. Of special note, offensively was Quinn Iuliano ’14 who went 3 for 5 at the plate with a triple and a double and also scoring 2 runs, Stan Barlow ’13 went 2 for 4 with 1 double and scoring 2 runs, and Kevin Gates ’15 who went 2 for 4 while scoring 1 run.
