8th Grade Outdoor Ed Trip

In May, the 8th grade went on an overnight camping and rafting trip to Zoar Outdoor in Charlemont, MA, on the Deerfield River with chaperones Jennifer Jones, Kelly Neely, Paul Murray, and Gia Upchurch. Students cooked, talked, bonded, and reflected on the year as it winds down to an end. There was also a connection to the science curriculum with a lesson on the geology of the Connecticut River Valley and the Deerfield River watershed.
