Brimmer and May Dragon Boat Photos

In June, Brimmer and May participated in the Boston Dragon Boat Festival on the Charles River. Student and teachers signed up to help row the boat, Upper School science teacher Chris Hardman steered, and Emily Gaylord ’13 kept the beat with the drum in the front. Brimmer and May has had a Dragon Boat team for several years, and the race attracts new students and teachers each year.

The team won their first heat by a fraction of a second, placed third in their second heat (finishing just 2 seconds behind the second place team), and finished second in the third heat. The Brimmer and May Gator boat was the only boat team with high school aged participants.
