GATORS DEFEATED BY PARK, 4-0

The Gators lost their second game in two days to Park School 4-0. Brimmer and May came out strong, but faced the glaring sun and physical opponents. In the first half, Park was able to score four goals in the first half of play. The Gators started the second half with quick feet and displayed more control of the ball. Sarah Mansour ’19 found herself in a breakaway to goal. The fast rolling ball was just out of reach of getting a shot on goal off. The Gator defense—Hannah Winthrop ’19, Megan Hakimian ’19, Emma Hastings ’19, Sarah Ulfelder ’18, Sophia Gomez ’19, Donna Colombo ’19, Sabine Geary ’19, and Rebecca Calhoun ’19—improved their efforts to hold off Park from scoring at all in the second half. The Gators mounted several other offensive attacks, but were unable to convert.
