GATOR GOLF LOSES ANOTHER CLOSE MATCH TO CH-CH, 2-1

The Brimmer and May golf team lost a competitive match to Chapel Hill- Chauncy Hall on Wednesday 2-1 on a beautiful fall afternoon at the Robert Lynch Golf Course in Brookline.

The Gators were led by their #2 golfer Josh Finn '15 who defeated his opponent two up. He clinched the win on the 8th hole under near dusk conditions after the CH-CH golfer drove his second shot into the hazard.

In the #1 match, Mark Buchanan '13 once again had the tough task of facing CH-CH's experienced player who is undefeated in his career. Buchanan did a fine job hanging in there but finally succumbed to his opponent 3-2.

In the #3 match, Andrew Kassis '15 took his opponent to the 8th hole before losing 2-1. He had a lead earlier in the match and appeared as if he had a chance to go all square on the 8th hole after a monstrous drive down the middle of the fairway but things wouldn't go his way in the end. Kassis has a 1-1 individual record on the season.

Brimmer and May concludes their season next Wednesday, October 24, at 4:00 p.m. against CH-CH at Leo J. Martin Golf Course in Dedham.
