Varsity Girls' Soccer @ Mount Alvernia High School

The Gators started the game well, playing aggressively and making good use of timely runs and solid defensive. After taking a 1-0 lead in the middle of the first half on a Sophie Lapat '18 goal, Brimmer and May let down a bit and gave back an equalizer goal a few minutes later to end the first half 1-1. The second half was much more spirited for the Gators as the dominated line to line. However, after a miscue on our defensive end, Mt. Alvernia took the lead 2-1. Brimmer and May was awarded a penalty kick with no time left on the clock. Shani Breiman '18 calmly walked to the line and netted the ball to end the game 2-2. The Gators will host Landmark School on Tuesday, September 23, at 4:15 at The Orr Field.
