Tanya Avrith Presented to the PA

Tanya Avrith, of EdTechTeacher gave a lively and thoughtful and presentation on Digital Citizenship to the Parents’ Association, followed by presentations to students. Ms. Avrith discussed ways in which parents can help their children leave a positive digital legacy and act as role models for healthy use of digital devices. She also met with grade 8 and Upper School students and discussed how to shape a positive digital "resume." She spoke to students about privacy issues and appropriate behavior based on legal definitions and engaged the students in a conversation about their use of social media.
