Grade Four Successfully Piloted iPads for ERBs

It was exciting for Grade Four to pilot the use of iPads to take the ERBs in May. It was such a success that we will be using iPads for all ERB testing next spring.

The students liked the new format, and the teachers and I liked the fact that we received the results immediately after the tests were taken. It takes several weeks to get the results of the more traditional paper test.

Interesting to note: while this year's grade-four students' language arts scores were comparable to students in other independent schools, our students' math scores were significantly better than their independent school peers.
