    Our Lower Schoolers took part in a very special Share assembly on Zoom to talk about their community services projects for the year. Our students' understanding of kindness, responsibility, and empathy shined through the screen as they spoke passionately about the organizations they've chosen to support.

    Elevating Black Voices

    We recently heard the stories of members of our community as part of our Voices assembly program. The program focused on elevating Black voices, and these Brimmer community members shared personal stories about their experiences in school, times when they have experienced anti-Black racism, and moments when they have felt like outsiders.

    Our upper school chorus, Greenline, arranged an amazing virtual performance of Brimmer's Alma Mater, Forever Faithful.

    The Gator placed as a Crown Finalist, the highest recognition for collective newsroom excellence in scholastic journalism by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.

    Jake Auchincloss was the keynote speaker, presenting Reinventing Transportation through the Green New Deal. He encouraged students to consider the impact they can make on their environment, no matter how small. He reminded students that "environmental sustainability is about more than just being green. It’s about leaving our kids with a planet that is in better shape than we found it.”
