Student Tour Guide Program

The Admissions Office’s Student Tour Guide Program is comprised of students in grades 9 through 12 who have applied and been accepted to the Program and then trained to be Brimmer ambassadors. The Program continues to grow and is currently led by one junior and one senior, who work closely with the Admissions Office. Student-led tours, which are scheduled taking into account students’ academic schedules, are available for most prospective families visiting Brimmer. Our tour guides are also present at Admissions events and make themselves available to prospective families throughout the admissions process. We look forward to having you meet them when you visit!

For more information about visiting Brimmer, please contact our Admissions Office at 617-738-8695.

Meet the Student Co-Leaders of the Program

Jack Donnelly '18 came to Brimmer in the 7th grade. He is a member of the STEAM Diploma Program. Along with being co-leader of the Tour Guide Club, he also co-runs the Peer Tutoring Program. Jack is an active member of student life at Brimmer and participates in the Student Senate, the Varsity Baseball Team, and a competitive hockey league outside of School. Along with sports, he performs in both the plays and musicals at Brimmer. One thing Jack says he cherishes about Brimmer is that with small class sizes, students consistently support one another both in and out of the classroom.
Emma Hastings '19 entered Brimmer in the 6th grade, following her two brothers, who will graduate in 2018. In addition to being a member of the Global Studies Diploma Program, Emma is passionate about sports, arts, and student life. She plays on the Varsity Soccer team and is captain of the Varsity Softball team. Emma participates in the school musicals and is the Vice President of Brimmers Upper School choir, Greenline. She has served as class representative and has held two officer positions in the Upper School Senate. Emma values Brimmer because of its many opportunities and the strong bonds that develop between students and teachers.
