Our Pre-K students are fascinated with building things and taking them apart. They are natural-born engineers! Exploring the Design Process throughout our curriculum creates a learning environment for students to take risks while they problem-solve. The stigma of failure disappears when failure is an important part of everyday problem-solving. Teaching our engineers at an early age that there is not always one “right” answer, but many solutions to a problem, emphasizes creativity and practicality. Challenging the students and their parents to build a dinosaur following the Design Process is a hands-opportunity to strengthen and understand the importance of teamwork.
