Black History Month Assembly

Middle and Upper School students attended an assembly focusing on Black History Month. Kip Bordelon of The Picardy Group, which is based in Chicago, gave a wonderful and engaging presentation titled, Responses to Racial Injustice, and focused largely on the unsung heroes of civil rights, beginning before the Civil War. Students overwhelmingly reported learning a lot and enjoying Mr. Bordelon’s charismatic personality. He challenged our students to “dig deep” into the history of our country and to continue to learn in school and on their own.
