Guest Speaker at MS/US Assembly

The topic of a recent Middle/Upper School assembly was Public Entrepreneurship: Inventing a Difference in the World with guest speaker, Mitchell Weiss. As former Boston’s Mayor Menino’s Chief of Staff and a current Harvard Business School professor, Weiss embodies this year’s theme—Inspiring Thinkers and Doers. During his talk, he explained how he is both a thinker and doer in the public sector. Weiss showed students a pathway to be innovators in the public sector and active agents for change in the world by sharing examples of how he helped shape Boston’s vision to be a leader in innovation and create The One Fund, following the Boston Marathon Bombing. It was a pleasure to have Weiss on campus to share his message with our students.
