A Capacity Crowd for the Lower School Soccer Game

The Gators took the field for the first time this year against their neighbor the Chestnut Hill School.  The Gators were down early 3-0 before catching their stride.  After a flurry of scoring by Jacob Williams and Phillip Lane the Gators had tied the score 4-4 going into halftime.  The second half saw the strong play of Chestnut Hill School as they kept the ball in the Gators half and won the time of possession.  This led to a 11-6 victory at the end of 60 minutes.  The Gators fought hard and everyone that participated in the game contributed in some way.  Cohen Siff was sensational in goal stopping on one attack an initial strike and then stopping the rebound. Coby Neudel started off the game in goal, but by the second half was out in the attackers spot and scored his first goal of the season.  Jacob Williams ended with 3 goals and Phillip Lane with 2.  All in all a great debut for the lower school Gators.  Gators next in action on Tuesday Oct. 12 at Tenacre Country Day School with a start time of 3:30pm.
