Welcome! We are pleased you are taking the time to get to know us. Our students develop the essential skills of critical thinking and problem solving, supported by creativity and collaboration, preparing them for our rapidly evolving world.
Take a closer look at our divisions, programs, and resources, which purposefully support the development of thinkers and doers for a complex, multicultural, high-tech, and increasingly interconnected modern world.
Every student should have a chance to reap the benefits of being physically active, experience the joys of teamwork, and feel rewarded by individual skill improvement.
Inspire others. Make a difference in the quality of the Brimmer experience. Join a community of donors that helps us to maintain excellence today and secure a vision for the future.
In response to the various ways that COVID-19 is affecting members of our Brimmer community, we have created a special fund within the Annual Fund called the Brimmer Community Fund.
Our students are encouraged to see physical fitness and the practice of a healthy lifestyle as a goal for now and the future. With classes that meet three times a week in PK-Grade 5, we provide our students with a quality and age-appropriate PE program that fosters skills to build on. In the early grades, we develop locomotor skills through a variety of activities that emphasize movement concepts, manipulative skills, and small group games in a safe and non-competitive environment. Starting in Grade 3, our team and individual sports program helps students further develop their soccer, field hockey, track and field, football, volleyball, badminton, handball, basketball, lacrosse, tennis, and softball skills. Our graduated approach allows students to progress to a more sophisticated level of play and to build athletic skills as they become more physically and emotionally mature. By preparing students with the skills needed for a wide variety of sports and activities, we instill in them a love of physical activity that lasts a lifetime.
