Equity and Inclusion

International Student Program

Brimmer’s emphasis on global citizenship, innovation, leadership, collaboration, and its focus on 21st century skills makes it a desirable and welcoming school community for international students and their families. The combination of a rigorous academic program and the small, structured, and nurturing environment has made it a natural choice for students who are committed to becoming global citizens, and leaders and passionate, innovative, thinkers. Our international student body has grown in the Lower, Middle, and Upper schools, particularly in the last decade.
Brimmer is proud to have representation from the following countries in our student body: Canada, China, Denmark, Italy, The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, and United Kingdom.
As Brimmer’s international population has grown, so too, has the International Student Support Program. We have an all-encompassing International Student Support Program that supports international students and families beginning during the admissions inquiry stage and continuing through college counseling.
Brimmer’s Director of International Students works closely with the Admissions Office, supports students and their families in the ELS classroom setting, stays in close touch with parents and guardians, visits sites as needed for students living with guardians, and serves as an advisor and counselor to all Brimmer international students. The Director of International Students also supports students during the college process.
As the world has became smaller, and the Brimmer community became a global village of its own, the need for close communication and sustained attention to our international families has grown. The School is committed to building on its international student program which, in concert with its commitment to diversity, makes it a wonderfully multicultural, inclusive, and special place for future global citizens and leaders to grow and thrive.
