Ryanne Hammerl

Ryanne earned her Masters of Music in Opera Performance from Arizona State University and her Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance from Western Michigan University as an Arnold Mae Thacker Scholar. She frequently performs with theaters around greater Boston—recent performances include Carrie Pipperidge in Carousel, Rapunzel in Into the Woods, Kate in Pirates of Penzance, Kate in Titanic the Musical, Ida in Die Fledermaus and Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro. She studied at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria as a Diether H. Haenicke Scholar for International Music Study. In addition to being an instructor on the Brimmer and May After School Music staff she has a thriving private studio of voice and piano students. Ryanne has spent three summers on the Voice Faculty at Belvoir Terrace Fine and Performing Arts Camp in Lenox, MA. She believes that there is no single approach to teaching voice and strives to make every lesson fun while focusing on the fundamentals of technique!
