Grade 7 2018 D.C. Trip

Seventh graders had a wonderful time on their trip to Washington, D.C., in early March 2018! This annual trip is part of the 7th grade Humanities curriculum and is designed to enhance the students' learning about U.S. history and American literature. Visits to the National Museum of African American History and Culture and the Spy Museum were new to the itinerary this year. Students also visited The Newsuem, Union Station, the National Cathedral, and took a guided nighttime monument tour. Other highlights included a day trip to Gettysburg, Shear Madness at the Kennedy Center, and meeting Congresswoman Niki Tsongas at the Capital.
