BOYS' VARSITY I COMPETE IN BABC TOURNAMENT

This past weekend, the Boys' Varsity I Basketball team played in the prestigious Boston Amateur Basketball Club (BABC) tournament with some of the top prep school teams in the country. The Gators went 0-2, but competed well.
On Saturday, the Gators lost to the top team in Class "B" and last year's National Champion, the Tilton School, 74-58. Brimmer and May was up by 4 at halftime, but was unable to sustain the lead as Tilton dominated the rebounding margin 39-19. The Gators were led in scoring by senior Derek Retos who scored 15 point and grabbed 4 rebounds. Senior Eric Alleyne scored 11 points and dished out 7 assists. Senior Patrick Pierre-Victor played a great all around game with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
