Christian Ernest to play at MA Music Educators Junior Festival

For the second year in a row, 8th grader Christian Ernest auditioned and was chosen to represent the Brimmer and May School at the Massachusetts Music Educators Junior Festival at Lincoln-Sudbury High School from March 5-6, 2010.
The music festival highlights the talents of middle school vocalists and instrumentalists from public and independent schools from eastern Massachusetts. Approximately one thousand students auditioned for the Festival, and over 450 students representing about thirty schools made the cut. Christian passed his audition for acoustic bass in the orchestra with a score of 93, greatly surpassing the cut-off score of 79. Students will rehearse all day Friday and Saturday morning. The performance takes place on Saturday afternoon.
