Jacob Hertz '12 Releases CD

Brimmer and May congratulates Jacob Hertz '12 on the release of his first CD entitled "Jacob and Skot: three years later." Jacob, a Creative Arts Diploma candidate with a concentration in music, released the CD this November after a summer of intense recording of the guitar, drum, and vocal tracks. Bill Jacob, Creative Arts Department Chair, says, “Jacob's dedication to music and his attention to detail marks the emergence of a real artist.”

Jacob's website says, “Jacob Hertz is a fierce drummer/guitarist/vocalist in the rock genre who recently completed an album of cover songs in collaboration with Boston guitar phenomenon Skot Veroczi. Skot's role was mostly supportive (playing bass, keys and producing) as Jacob was able to play all of the guitar parts, all of the drums and the lead vocals for every track. No small feat for a teenager!”

Brimmer and May alumni Julia Pincus '11 took fantastic album photos.
