Girls' Tennis @ Beaver Country Day School

At No. 1 singles, Hallie Black ('14) played some wonderful shots against a hard-hitting and steady opponent. The 0-8 match score does not do justice to the types of points played. At No. 2, Elle McDermott ('16) played a tough match, and by far the longest match of the day, but lost 3-8. Elle looked cold but warmed up her shot-making and hung in there for long points. Once again at No. 3, Alina Fischer ('16) took the court and rallied from 0-7 to win her one and only game. She ended up losing 1-8 in front of the small crowd of spectators cheering from the sidelines. At No. 1 doubles once again, Jessica Duserick ('14) and Monica Morales ('18) played a hard match where the opposing team hit some hard shots and great serves and beat the Brimmer and May tandem 2-8.
