Exploration Week

Each year, during the week before Spring Break, when grade 7 is in Washington, D.C., the Middle School conducts Exploration Week for students in grades 6 and 8. Class time during this week may be dedicated to projects, workshops, interdisciplinary work, field trips, outdoor education, reading, and writing. Full school days may be scheduled for math, science, fine and performing arts, humanities, or language study. The goal of Exploration Week is to expose students to a variety of learning opportunities and experiences to enhance their understanding and enjoyment of their studies across disciplines.
As an inclusive private school community, Brimmer welcomes students who will increase the diversity of our school.
