This proposal seeks to establish an innovative middle school book group program that integrates traditional literacy practices with digital media creation through podcasting. The $6,000 classroom funding will transform our approach to literature by empowering students to select their own reading materials and document their literary journeys through collaborative podcast production.

This initiative directly addresses multiple award criteria by creating a learning environment where technology enhances higher-order thinking about literature while building student confidence through authentic audience engagement.
