Gators consistent effort lead them to a 13-point victory versus Covenant Christian Academy

The Gators were ready to play from the start of the game, starting the game with tenacity, energy, and composure.  CCA also came ready to play on Friday night. CCA scored the first two points of the game, but that was quickly answered by a big three pointer by Leah Bell '22.  During the first quarter the Gators and the Cougars traded baskets.  Going into the second quarter the Gators had a small lead.  That’s when the Gators defense picked up even more, getting stops, which led to points on the other end.  The Gators kept the lead for the rest of the game, being in a double-digit lead going into the fourth quarter.  Six Gators scored, with Marianna Alagos '21 leading the team with 16 points.  The Gators next game is at Montrose on Wednesday. January 15th at 4:45pm.
