Gators take a tough loss in low scoring game
Coming off of a win versus CSW, the Gators knew they would have a tough game vs. Landmark. It was a very low-scoring first quarter with the Gators scoring 5 points from drives from Kaylee Little and Landmark scoring 9. Good defense in the second quarter allowed for Landmark to score even fewer points, putting the score at 9- 14 going into halftime. Unfortunately, the Gators only scored 3 points in the third quarter, which put them down by 11 going into the 4th quarter. A full-court press and relentless defense in the last few minutes of the game brought the Gators within reach, but they ran out of time and ended up losing 20-29.
