L.S. Community Service Share

At the final Share assembly of 2017, the Lower School gathered to share their community service projects. Each grade level explained their project(s) for the year, as well as why the project is important to their class. From baking apple pies to volunteering at the Greater Boston Food Bank, the Lower School community is working hard to give to those in need. 
 
Pre-K  
Baked Apple Pies for Ethos. 
 
Kindergarten 
Donated candy to the Boston B-Fund for Children’s Hospital. 
 
Grade 1
Decorated candle holders to bring light and love to share with a friend or neighbor for the holiday season.
 
Grade 2
Created an original storybook for a child in a local hospital which featured her as the main character, and will write thank you letters to peole who make donations to the MSPCA this spring.
 
Grade 3
Will hold a book sale to raise money to donate to Save the Whales. 
 
Grade 4 
Collected and sorted Brimmer’s campus recycling, and helped coordinate a fundraiser for hurricane relief which raised $750.
 
Grade 5
Visited senior citizens at a local senior citizen center, volunteered at the Greater Boston Food Bank, collected money from trick or treating for UNICEF, raise and lower the American flag on campus daily.
