Chinese Temple Fair

Brimmer recently held its first Chinese Temple Fair to welcome the Year of the Dog, turning the Hastings Innovation Space into a New Year's Festival. Throughout the day, K-12 students tried their hand at calligraphy, played with the traditional foot kick toys, guessed riddles and the number of lucky candles, spun a wheel of fortune, made dragons, and, most importantly, ate homemade dumplings graciously made by parent volunteers. With this kind of a welcome, the Year of the Dog has started off on the right foot! Thanks to parents, faculty and staff, and students for making the celebration so wonderful.
