Gators Battled LCA Tough

On a rainy Monday, the Gators hosted EIL contenders, Lexington Christian Academy, at Mt Ida. The Gators battled hard in tough conditions, but fell 5-1 to a quality team that has already beaten a number of Class C teams. Brian Barrera returned from injury and combined with fellow captain Theo Pellman in the midfield. Anson Mancebo returned from his one game absence to score Brimmer’s lone goal. The goal was a highlight reel shot from about 25 yards out that swerved and knuckled around the diving keeper and went into the top left corner.
