Gators Bounce Back with a 17 point win over Governor's
Gators shake off a tough loss the day before and get a win in the ZG Prep Classic to even their record to 1-1. 2022' Guard Ismani Cepeda played a great all around game. He knocked down 3 three pointers and ended with 11 points but his defense was the catalyst to the Gators victory. 2023' Quinn Nielsen once again was dominant with 12 points and 12 rebounds impressing everyone with his progression over the last year. 2024 Bryce Dortch showed grit as he battled through a bruised knee to score 8 points and a ferocious hammer dunk. The leader scorer for the Gators was 2022' Jarrel Okorougo who led the Gators with 20 points and took home player of the game honors. Truly a team effort as 2024' Edrick Quezada got the Gators off to a 11-0 spurt. Edrick knocked down a 3 and got a driving layup and from their the Gators never looked back. Next game is Wednesday December 8th against undefeated powerhouse Bridgton Academy.
