PK Food Truck Fest 2024

PK students celebrated the conclusion of their transportation and community helper's unit with the fourth annual Food Truck Fest. In collaboration with the Lower School Creative Arts Department, students explored the importance of food trucks in supporting communities. In music and drama classes, students designed and named their trucks, learned the Food Truck Fest song, perfected their script, and even passed their "driving test." In art class, students created chef hats to bring their costumes to life. In the classroom, students worked on building their food trucks, creating their license plates, finalizing and writing their menus (viewed via QR code!), and setting reasonable (and astronomical!) prices.

We're so proud of our PK students for their creativity and collaboration throughout this tasty project!
